1T at Pizza Express

On Tuesday 12th January, 1T headed to Pizza Express to begin their unit of work on Food and Farming. After donning the special chef’s hats and aprons, Servet taught us how to firstly, stretch the dough, then spread the tomato sauce. Having become expert at this, then the delicious ingredients of mushrooms, pepperoni, ham and olives were sprinkled around in some unusual ways. We then topped them off with some delicious cheese, oil and oregano. After Vinson the chef put them through the enormous pizza oven that cooks at 350 degrees, we took them back to school and enjoyed the fruits of our labour. It was a fantastic start to our Tuesday and some of us managed to polish off an entire pizza before midday! Buon Appetito!
