2S performed their assembly in front of their fellow year 2 classes, parents and teachers. We had decided to do the assembly on our science topic of ‘food and healthy eating’. The boys had a lot of lines to learn, as well as a poem and 2 songs!

Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the performance and the boys in 2S had great fun wearing their fruit and veg hats. They taught everyone many new facts. Did you know that carrots were originally white and purple?!

The final song was a rousing rendition of the Oliver classic, ‘Food Glorious Food’. The boys sang their hearts out and had even made up actions to go with it. There were smiling faces all round by the end.
