ICT

The continuing technological revolution has seen ICT become an integral part of life and an important, if not essential, skill for everyone. With this in mind we aim to make all the boys confident and competent users of ICT and to help them to become independent learners.

The Lower School ICT room is fully equipped with 24 workstations using Windows XP and an interactive teaching whiteboard. Boys receive a minimum of 2 lessons each week and cover a broad range of skills and activities. The structured programme promotes a positive can-do approach, incorporating a wide range of cross-curricular activities and topics, which foster an enjoyment of learning through ICT. All users of the DCPS Network must adhere to the terms and conditions set out in the Acceptable Use Policy.
