School Priorities
When you visit the Prep, you will hear more of the principles and practices we espouse. There are too many aspects in any school's life to reduce what makes it tick to a few phrases. Nevertheless, we set out below some fundamentals:
- Dulwich College Preparatory School is a school with a remarkably stable past. As this past forms a continuum with the present, so we value and aim to provide continuity to Prep pupils from the day they arrive to the day they leave. They will thus have a stable base from which to greet their future.
- We are determined to allow children to grow and develop in a school free of predjudice.
- We try to ensure that every member of the school is valued for the talents and beliefs he brings to the community.
- Secure in a positive and happy enviroment, the boys are able to participate in a wide range of activities, receiving an all round preparation for their senior schools so they leave us as competent and responsible young men.
- It is our aim that boys will move on to the senior school of their choice, and this will include popular day schools and boarding schools all over the country.
- We aim to provide a broad education covering the academic, artisitic, physical, social and moral development of the child so that he may fulfil his potential in these areas.
- This is a boys' school FOR the boys. We aim to provide each child with the opportunity to become the best possible version of himself.
