For their last four years at the Prep, until age thirteen, boys are in the Upper School. Here the boys enjoy outstanding facilities - with numerous new building developments over the past ten years - and teaching entirely by subject-specialist staff.
From Year Five onwards boys are divided into bands, according to each boy's educational and social needs. For both bands the curriculum remains the same, with the upper band doing some more extended work. The curriculum has the breadth you would expect, covering all the requirements of the National Curriculum and more, including classical studies and Latin.
In the Upper School, our goal is to build on the structures, attitudes and aptitudes developed in the lower schools, to thoroughly prepare children for a fruitful continuing education after their years with us.
Our nationally-renowned reputation for excellence, earned through the consistent achievements of our pupils, is evidence of the success of our approach.
